He is a phenomenal guitar player and is travelling from Estonia, so I am sure you will be your usual generous selves!Celebrating his 30th anniversary as a performing artist in 2026, the internationally acclaimed Estonian slide guitarist Andres Roots returns to Temperance for the third time in three years!Roots (his real name!) has played everywhere from Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the German parliament at the Bundestag in Berlin, offering "a masterclass in fluid acoustic blues and roots music" (RnR Magazine) and/or "a hardcore reshaping of the blues" (Songlines). His music has enjoyed airplay on five continents, topped the charts in Estonia and earned comparisons with the heyday of Mississippi Delta Blues, Leo Kottke, and Davy Graham.Recorded live at Temperance, Roots' 2025 CD album "Royal Spa Blues" was the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association's 'Album Pick of the Month' and reached #2 in the IBBA monthly airplay chart, also spending two months in the Top 20 of the corresponding Collectif des Radios Blues chart in France. In 2026, 10 tracks from that 50-minute CD will be released on 10" vinyl - available at the July 20th Leamington Spa concert!http://www.andresroots.com
